Senior Adult Sexual and
Relationship Counseling

Aging doesn’t have to dictate your sexuality or ability to have a fulfilling relationship.

And that goes for society, family, and your circumstances, too!

If these are things you want in your life, let’s talk about how to make it happen.

We live in a different world today.

Several decades ago, the general consensus was that sexual desire went away in your mid-fifties or early sixties (sexual dysfunction and death weren’t far away, either).

But humans are living much longer these days – and more actively than ever before.

Not all of the modern world has been kind to seniors, though. Illness, isolation, and death of loved ones have created what the U.S. Surgeon General’s Office calls an “Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation.”

Loneliness isn’t just mental; it can lead to a host of physical problems like heart issues, depression, malnutrition, and high blood pressure. Also memory issues and dementia.

That’s why it’s important to share your life with someone.

I am authorized to present a series of workshops titled, “Older, Wiser, Sexually Smarter.”

The workshops are focused on aging adults and addresses sexuality in the mature community in a fun, straightforward manner.

We’ll talk about how the body functions, acceptable accommodations for sexual activity in an aging body, dealing with family issues, ethics in assisted-living and memory-care communities, and what all this means for those who care for seniors.

You’ll learn to navigate those waters in a safe, sane, and consensual way.
