What is Sex Coaching and Clinical Sexology?
Clinical Sexology is the study of what people do sexually, how they feel about it, and what they think about it. I work with clients via focused conversations, home exercise assignments, self-evaluations, and experiential learning.
What can I expect in the first session?

There will be an introductory phone/zoom visit to help us learn a bit about each other. You will be sent a questionnaire I will ask you to complete and bring to our first in-person meeting. If it is a virtual meeting, I will ask you to return the information to me via email.

The first session will be a maximum of 90 minutes in length. This gives us time to get acquainted, discern the concerns you wish to address, and create a plan of action to reach your goals. We will talk about what brought you to this point and how your past might affect your future goals.

What about follow-up sessions?
All subsequent sessions will be 50 minutes in length. We will review the major points of the session and get the homework assignments to be done before the next session. We will review our goals and make revisions if needed.
Will my spouse/partner (if applicable) need to come?
I typically work with the individual (or each partner) for a session or two before having a joint session…depending on the goals and progress and the particular needs.
How much does each session cost?
Please give me a call, and we can talk more about rates.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations without a 24-hour notice will result in the client being charged the full session rate for the missed session.
What are your office hours?
Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday to accommodate your schedule.
Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance.

Upon request, I can provide you with a statement containing all the necessary information to seek reimbursement from your insurance for service by an out-of-network provider. I cannot guarantee if or how much your insurance provider will reimburse.
